Human
- Humans are the most adaptable species.
- Humans were once slaves of the Drow.
- Brancian practice magic and chivalry.
- Mallastonian use steam powered technology.
- Rhaegoran live in tranquility with the elements.
- Sandspirian live for the pleasures that life offers.
[/font][/ul][/div] Humans make up the majority of the mortal world. No two humans are alike, and they are often at odds with one another. Humans form large societies that depend upon one another, but also contest with one another for resources. Humans make great characters because they are very fluid and ever changing to adapt to the world around them. Humans typically have the most knowledge about Agia thanks to the widespread sharing of knowledge throughout their race.[/div] Elf
- Wood Elves live in the Evergreen forests of the Skyfell in the North.
- Wood Elves are distrustful of magic and outsiders.
- Drow Elves live beneath the ground in the Forgotten Kingdom of Espladar.
- The Drow descended from High Elves who once enslaved humanity.
- Drow often commune with the demon realm and very affluent with dark magic.
- Other Elves once existed, such as the Xharlion Elves of the Sandspire desert.
[/font][/ul][/div] Elves are believed to have been made in the image of Omazur, who has since fallen from grace and become the Aspect of Wrath. In the begging all elves resided in Xharlion, a once lush and fertile land that is today a desert wasteland. After Omazur's fall he sought to destroy his children, only to be stopped by his daughters Rostiello and Sariel and banished back into hell. The entire region began to die shortly after the battle, and the Elves began to migrate. The Elves split into two groups. One group would become known as the High Elves of Espladar, creating a large empire of magical might and falling prey to corruption that twisted them into vile drow. The other group moved to the north into the area known as the Skyfell, and they are today known as the wood elves. Unlike their drow cousins, wood elves view magic with disdain. [/div] Dwarf
- Technological and mathematical genius compare to other races.
- Not fond of magic or creative thinking.
- Very high male to female ratio.
- Become very emotional if given alcohol.
- Short and stocky.
- Beards are a fashion accessory for men
and women.
[/font][/ul][/div] Only one race of dwarf is known to exist, and they are believed to be the inventors of steam powered instruments and clockwork. Over time their Mallastonian human allies have incorporated magic into their creations, but they owe their roots to the Bluemist Dwarves. Dwarves of the Bluemist are extremely left brained creatures, making them excellent at magic dealing with space and time in addition to their engineering prowess. When a Dwarf is exposed to the human invention of alcohol they become incredibly boisterous and emotional, many elders want to ban alcohol altogether for fear that their society might crumble. Dwarves place high reverence upon the Aspect of Kindness, as the being took Dwarven form and saved their race from extinction in the distant past.[/div] Automoton
- Most Automoton have artificially created minds.
- Serve as Mallaston's soldiers and servants.
- Made from steel or wood depending upon the job.
- Considered to be abominations by Brance.
- The rich and elite place their souls within mechanical bodies.
- The most functional models available are humanoid in form.
[/font][/ul][/div] An automaton is an artificial life form crafted through a combination of engineering and magic in order to create a functional being. Automaton are typically of a humanoid shape and are typically fashioned from steel, although cheaper models are made out of wooden materials. Their are two types of automaton in Mallaston. The first is when an engineer creates a functional metallic body and a mage capable of creating an artificial mind places it inside the empty shell. In Mallaston these artificial lifeforms are considered property and treated as the majority of the workforce. Factory workers, shop keepers, and front line soldiers all fall into this category. The second is when a human mind is placed inside a mechanical construct. Only the richest Mallastonian can afford this procedure. Most of the nations political elite have used this procedure. Automoton with souls have to look out for the reapers of the Aspect of Justice, who finds them to be breaking the natural order.[/div] Angel
- Servants of one of the Aspects of Virtue.
- Created from the souls of the righteous dead.
- Seek to uphold goodness and correct wrong doing.
- Willing mortals sacrifice their lives to allow Angels to posses their bodies.
- Angels are not supposed to enter the human realm but if they do not the demons will gain advantages.
- Capable of existing on the mortal realm for a short period of time in angelic form, but their body is lost and they must face the Aspect of Judgement before returning to Heaven.
[/font][/ul][/div] Although recently the heavens rarely intervened in the affairs of the mortal world, the increase in demonic activity has led the Aspects of Virtue to break Aspuzoch's mandate in hopes of curbing the increased demonic presence. The Angel are the chosen souls that are sent to walk the earth and give aid to mankind. An Angel is a pure mortal soul that has ascended into the Heavens to live in eternal bliss, they give up their paradise in order to serve the Heavens as its guardians. Each Angel is the liege of one of the Aspects of Virtue. Each Angel must be summoned within the body of a willing host by a Priest of the Heavens in Agia, upon entry the hosts soul dies but becomes purified immediately. If in desperation an Exalted can detach themselves from their mortal host and take upon their much more powerful angelic form. Doing so causes the mortal body they are occupying to die, and they must go through the underworld and face the Aspect of Justice for breaking divine mandate (at the end of the thread in which they use this power). Angels must avoid Aspuzoch's reapers, whose mission is to prevent them from being in the mortal world.[/div] Hellborn
- Servants of one of the Aspects of Sin.
- Created from the souls of the most corrupt.
- Sent to the mortal realm to corrupt souls to bolster hell's armies.
- Cultists summon Demons into human sacrifices.
- Demons sometimes flee hell for their own ends.
- Capable of existing on the mortal realm for a short period of time in demonic form, but their body is lost and they must face the Aspect of Judgement before returning to Hell.
[/font][/ul][/div] Unlike the Aspects of Sin, these beings are not natives of hell. When the souls of the wicked are judged and sent to hell, they go through torture at the hands of other demons. It is the duty of the Hellborn to twist these souls into more useful forms, expelling any purity that might remain within the soul. Some souls are wielded into weaponry or walls, some are used to create mindless imps, and some are welded together to create terrible beasts. Only a select few are chosen to become Hellborn, souls that retain their identity. Hellborn are typically chosen from the most wicked of all souls, and they are the true citizens of hell. To enter the world of mortals, Hellborn must enter the body of a sacrificed host. Typically this means striking a pact with an evil cultist. If in desperation an Hellborn can detach themselves from their mortal host and take upon their much more powerful demonic form. Doing so causes the mortal body they are occupying to die, and they must go through the underworld and face the Aspect of Justice for breaking divine mandate (at the end of the thread in which they use this ability). Hellborn must avoid Aspuzoch's reapers, whose mission is to prevent them from being in the mortal world.

Clarification on Angel and Hellborn.
Angels and Hellborn in mortal bodies are limited by the fact that they are in humanoid bodies. For instance an angel might be the size of five men in his angel form, but it can't use that while in a mortal form.
We also recommend creating a few signature powers that you can only use in your Angel/Demon form. For example Upon exiting the body of your host you can go for a thread in your angel/hellborn form. Your host body dies (but it can be preserved by allies). You can't reenter it without first returning to the underworld.
You will be judged as normal in the underworld, although the Aspect of Justice will scold you for breaking the law and being on the mortal plane. Something might happen in the future if the law gets broken too many time by too many players, but for now their aren't any known consequences. You then return to your respective homebase and you are free to go back to earth in either a new body or the same (if it hasnt been dead long/ has been preserved).
